Welcome!

I wanted to start a blog to chronicle my quilting projects. It has been almost a year since I started quilting, and I've completed two quilts. OK, so that's not a great amount of output - a full time job really gets in the way of my quilting time!

I may also post some of my little sewing projects. That was totally scary. I can't even believe I just typed that. I've come along way since the days of 4-H clothing projects. Thanks to my mom for teaching me the basics of sewing.

Here is my latest quilt creation. It is a baby quilt made for my friend and coworker's new baby, Brendyn.

This pattern is called Tumbling Through the Stars. Sally Gawthrop was the instructor for this project. All of the Church Mice girls are working on this pattern. I'll post their versions once I get some pictures from them.

This is Brendyn's older brother Rylan. He is checking it out for baby bro.

  1. Congrats on the new blog, I'm looking forward to seeing all of your projects. Little did you know where 4-H would get you. Good job, Kay, of raising this one!

  5. Whoa, you know you've got it bad when you have MULTIPLE blogs! I love the latest quilt. Way to go guilting Kari into finishing hers. Maybe she'll be "great with child" soon enough and start a blog of her own. :)

  8. Wow -that is so neat. Great job Angie. I feel so left out of the craft genes from the family. Maybe I just needed to try harder.
